I haven't updated since early this year. Some personal stuff happened which made me kind of lose interest in drawing (nothing horrible or anything, but I kind of dropped off of most of the sites I used because they suddenly didn't feel relevant). Nothing really interesting happened since then, but I fainted a month ago from like, a bunch of little things which all went wrong at the same time. It was a super weird experience. Anyway, I'm not totally gone, but I don't know how long it'll take me until I get interested in art again.

Just posting to say I have my finals coming up so everything is on hold. I figured after my midterms I'd have more time, but then I realized the second half of the semester was pretty much when all my projects ended up being assigned o_o Since I owe a few people art I thought I should post saying as much, and if I owe you art and you're getting curious, feel free to let me know if you'd like a WIP since I'm like halfway done with each piece :3

So my uncle's pretty awesome, but my family is pretty much ESL and some idioms fly below their radar. My uncle, in particular, demonstrates how wrong this can go. He really wants to use a particular idiom, but keeps screwing it up, and that slight difference changes the meaning drastically. He really wants to say "I'm pooped" when he's exhausted. But he registers the suffix of "-ed" as past tense and changes it to what he feels is present tense. So in the middle of a conversation he'll just sigh and say "I'm pooping." From a pretty butch middle aged man this is always pretty surprising. I've tried to explain why it's wrong but he doesn't
